October 9 to 11 Surfari Mar Menor windsurfing and kitefoil fiesta in Los Alcázares!
Spectacular water sports on the Mar Menor at this long-lasting festival of windsurfing
The Surfari Mar Menor event in Los Alcázares is this year being held for the 27th time over the weekend of 9th to 11th October, immediately before the national public holiday and coinciding with the annual local fiestas, and this year it is taking place at the recently upgraded “nautical beach” of Playa de las Salinas.
At the same time, the programme has been increased by the addition of Wingfoil and Fórmula Kite events, and the new venue means that there is likely to be an even higher number of participants than in previous years. Of course, the more traditional windsurf event, the mainstay of Surfari Mar Menor, is still top of the list, and the combined effect is likely to be a great spectacle on the water of the Mar Menor over the weekend.
Formula Kite, for the uninitiated, was included in the Paris Olympic Games of 2024, and the Spanish Cup is being held at Surfari!
