The heat eases off to leave a pleasant, bearable warmth: Murcia weather forecast March 13-19
It will be a perfect sunny week in the Region of Murcia without being too hot
After a scorcher of a weekend, temperatures are expected to drop to a somewhat more comfortable 25ºC this week, but it will still be bright, sunny and dry with only some slight cloud cover.
As usual, temperatures will be lower in the northern parts of the Region of Murcia, around Yecla and Caravaca de la Cruz, where minimums at night-time will be around 5-7ºC, while in the centre and south of the Region it will be more like 9-11ºC.
During the day, too, it is the central parts of the Region like Totana, and the coastal areas of San Javier and Torre Pacheco, which will have the highest temperatures, though at no point is it forecast to exceed 30ºC again as it did at the weekend.
Monday March 13 and Tuesday 14 may be windier than usual, especially in the northwest near the border with Albacete, where a yellow weather alert has been issued for gusts of wind of over 70kmh.
Aside from this, it should be a settled week that is unlikely to bring any surprises – perhaps raindrop or two on Saturday if the clouds drift over this far from Jaén and Granada.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Murcia this week
