September 11 to 20 The circus comes to town in Los Alcázares!
All the fun of the circus alongside the sports pavilion in Los Alcázares
Ah, the circus… of course, not as it was 50 or 60 years, as many animal-related attractions have been removed from the range of entertainments offered, but a whole new genre of circus has grown up to take their place and on 8 nights in September the people of Los Alcázares can go and see the spectacle next to the municipal sports centre in Calle Sauce.
Among the acts on the menu provided by the Circo Francia de Paris are magic, clowns, trapeze artists, acrobats, animation and some real surprises for older generations, such as King Kong (a giant animatronic gorilla) and a tribute to K-Pop bands. The poster makes no mention of clowns, but surely they’ll be there???
Evening shows are programmed for 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th September at 19.30, with tickets priced from 10 euros on the 17th and 14 euros (12 euros for children) on the other days.
In addition, those buying a McMenu and a Happy Meal at the nearby McDonalds can receive a free ticket for one child!
For more local information in English, including news, what’s on and visiting advice, contact the tourist offices in Los Alcázares (main telephone number 968 575756) or go to the home page of Los Alcázares Today.
