Guidelines for submitting articles to La Manga Club Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing La Manga ClubToday.com to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
La Manga Club Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on La Manga Club Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

May 9 to 11 Annual Custom Alhama bikers and music festival in Alhama de Murcia
The Alhama Custom motorcycle club holds its annual event following the Los Mayos weekend
Every year the Custom Alhama Motorcycling club holds an annual bikers’ gathering, with music and entertainment throughout the weekend for bike enthusiasts, and in 2025 the 33rd edition of the event takes place as usual over the weekend following the local Los Mayos celebrations.
Secure parking is provided along with entertainment and food for those who register to participate. The doors are opened free of charge for the music and attendees pay for what they eat and drink from the bar, but apart from this there are also a host of other activities planned for this year’s festival, including tours of the area, competitions, games and a market.
Registration for the whole weekend is 30 euros a head, for Saturday and Sunday 25 euros and for Sunday only 20 euros: Fees should be paid on arrival and include drinks at the bar, the meal on the Friday, the two tours on the Saturday and the visit to Primafrío on the Sunday.
The events take place at the fairground on the road out of Alhama towards Sierra Espuña, and more info about the Moto Club can be found here or by calling Espadas (609 081930) or Pedro (639 591515).
The program for the weekend includes the following:
Friday May 9
21.00: Special dinner for those with prior registration.
22.00: 40 Duros Band live in concert.
Midnight: El Koala live in concert.
Saturday May 10
12.00: A visit to the classic motorbikes collection of Ramón Segura.
13.30: Rock Para 4.
17.00: Live music from Traspié.
19.00: A bike tour with stops for refreshments at the El Pozo Alimentación and Primafrio plants, together with tastings.
20.00: Live music from Lonely Fire.
22.30: Tribute concert by Sharabia to Medina Azahara.
Midnight: Los Puntos live in concert followed by DJ music.
Sunday May 11
10.00: Bikers’ breakfast.
11.00: Live music from Marcos Elvis.
12.00: Live music from Los Happys with a sample snack menu at the bar.

Oficina de Turismo de Alhama de Murcia
Alhama de Murcia Tourist information office is located on the edge of the Plaza de la Constitución, just a few metres away from the underground car park and the Town hall of Alhama de Murcia.
The tourist office offers free guided audiotours in English which take visitors around the historical sites of interest in Alhama. These be loaned at any time, although allow an hour and a half to complete the tour, and when loaning the audio equipment visitors are asked to leave passports or ID cards with the tourist office.
The office also carries a full range of leaflets for the archaeological museum of Los Baños, which is built around the historic spa which gives Alhama its name, and the mountains of Sierra Espuña, which is also an important area within the municipality of Alhama. Areas such as El Berro and Gebas have a number of interesting routes which can be followed and there are several picnic areas and good walking routes within the Sierra Espuña natural park.
The tourist office also carries leaflets for the many cultural events and fiestas which take place in Alhama throughout the year, including Los Mayos, Semana Santa, Christmas,the Romería of La Candelaria and the Auto de los Reyes Magos in El Berro.
