May 11 Benidorm hosts biggest Eurovision party yet
More than 4,000 people will pack Benidorm’s Julio Iglesias auditorium for the most anticipated party of the year
Benidorm’s ultimate Eurovision celebration gets underway on Saturday May 11, with a mammoth party surrounding a live broadcast of the music competition finale at the Julio Iglesias auditorium in l'Aigüera park.
Featuring electrifying acts by White Dove, Sofia Martin, Jose Otero, Noan, Mantra, Sharonne and Sofia Coll, Benidorm Fest Euroclub promises to be the event of the summer. Groove to infectious beats provided by talented DJs and catch live screenings of the grand finale on giant displays. Immerse yourself in vibrant fan zones, indulge in delicious food trucks, shop official merchandise and unwind in specially designed rest areas.
With more than 4,000 guests expected to attend the free event, the Eurovision party will begin at 4pm and run late into the night.
Not limited to Benidorm alone, the excitement extends to Malmö, Sweden on May 8, hosting three remarkable performers from distinct Eurovision events. Varry Brava, Miss Caffein, and Sharonne join forces for a phenomenal concert series, drawing hundreds of international delegates and prominent media representatives.
This party will bring together tourism delegates from Italy, the UK, France and other countries that have direct air connections with Valencian airports with the aim of promoting the region as a top destination.
Spain will be represented in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest by the group Nebulossa who will perform their hit single Zorra on the night. This song was selected from 15 other hopefuls at this year’s Benidorm Fest.
As a member of the so-called ‘Big Five’, Spain automatically qualified to compete in the final of the overall competition in Sweden.
Croatia is currently the favourite to win this year, with Baby Lasagna singing Rim Tim Tagi Dim.
