June 16 Status Quo live in concert in Benidorm
Francis Rossi and the band visit the Julio Iglesias Auditorium in the Costa Blanca
Yes, they’re still Rockin’ All Over the World, and leading the way is still Francis Rossi, who has been lead singer and lead guitarist for Status Quo for over 50 years now!
Since the group was first formed in 1962 the line-up has, of course, changed on numerous occasions, but Rossi has been ever-present. The other members of the group are Andy Bown (who has been with them for 43 years), John "Rhino" Edwards (39 years), Leon Cave (11 years) and Richie Malone (since the death of Rick Parfitt in 2016), so this is still the very essence of The Quo at their peak.
The 2024 tour is taking in numerous venues all over the UK and Europe and comes to the Auditorio Julio Iglesias in Benidorm on June 16. The concert begins at 22.30 with tickets priced at 50 and 52 euros (general unnumbered entrance), 82 euros with seats in the stands at 85 euros at the front of stage. Bookings are available online here but tickets are selling well so don’t delay!
