La Manga Club Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on La Manga Club Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Judas Priest to headline at the 3rd Rock Imperium festival in Cartagena in June 2024

Legendary heavy metal band Judas Priest, who were formed in Birmingham as long ago as 1969 and have sold over 50 million albums worldwide since, have been inked in to top the bill at the 2024 Rock Imperium festival in Cartagena.
The third edition of the festival takes place from June 19 to 22 in Cartagena and the bill also features Extreme, Yngwie Malmsteen, Doro recreating the history of Warlock and other legendary names such as Uriah Heep, Saxon and Glenn Hughes. It is expected that over 80,000 will attend the event over the four days, after the huge success of the first two editions.
It is this success that has led to the festival being extended from two to four days and becoming one of the leading hard rock festivals in Spain, according to Mayoress Noelia Arroyo, and other acts already confirmed include The Darkness, Kadavar, Dying Fetus, Tankard, Tete Novoa, the Chilean Ronnie Romero, Dutch band Textures, Blackbriar, Xandria, Lovebites, Phantom Excaliber, The Raven Age, Shores of Null, The Last Internationale and Spanish groups Lonely Fire, Archetype of Disorder, Invicti, Hard Love, Holycide and Astray Valley.
Other acts include Avantasia, Accept, Emperor, TNT, Beast in Black, Carcass, Kamelot, In Extremo, Einar Solberg, Nestor, Marduk, Praying Mantis, Green Lung, Turmion Kätilöt, Spidergawd, Riot City, Celtian, Diabulus In Musica, Arwen, Darknoise, Vatikan Spectrum and Nyhem.
