Most of the horse-riding tours aren’t advertised online, but you’ll spot a lot of horseback riding advertising around town.

We have a couple of fan favourite horse-riding tours in the Region of Murcia, such as Finca La Constancia, where you’ll get to explore a fun region in Murcia, and they have a range of horses to choose from depending on your horse-riding experience.

There is also the Club Hípico El Puntal, which most horse riders recommend, mainly because the people are so welcoming and friendly. Plus, they are knowledgeable about horses, and even if you’ve never ridden a horse before, they will guide you through the process.

This tour will take you on a stunning hack out to the Calblanque beach (even though you are not allowed on the beach due to conservation), and you’ll pass through fields and mountains. The rides can last up to 3 hours, but of course, it all comes down to your experience.

Tips for a great riding experience

Wear the right gear: Comfortable pants, sturdy boots, and a helmet are a must. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat for those sunny Murcian days.
Stay hydrated: Riding can be thirsty work, especially in the heat. Bring plenty of water.
Listen to your guide: They know the trails and the horses better than anyone. Trust their expertise.
Respect the environment: Stick to marked trails and avoid disturbing wildlife.
