Hacienda del Álamo in the municipality of Fuente Álamo
The Hacienda del Álamo Golf Resort is located just 3km from the town of Fuente Álamo in south-west Murcia and boasts a prestigious 18-hole golf course set in extensive landscaped gardens and public areas.
The resort has some of the best golf tuition facilities in Spain, with a luxurious clubhouse, golf instruction academy, driving range and training courses as well as the full-sized championship course. In addition there are tennis and padel courts, a bowling green and football and rugby pitches, together with cycling facilities and public leisure areas.
Urban development in Hacienda del Álamo is low density, with just 12% of the resort area built up and the remainder landscaped inside a security gated complex.
Hacienda del Álamo is located 20 minutes from the Region of Murcia International Airport in Corvera, and the town of Fuente Álamo is well connected to the cities of Murcia and Cartagena, with plenty of more local facilities also available.
Beaches are just a 20-minute drive away in Mazarrón, which has 35 kilometres of sandy coastline , and the Mar Menor is 
a half-hour drive away, with over 70 kilometres of beaches on both the Mediterranean and Mar Menor and superb water sports facilities.
Fuente Álamo is also near the mountains of Sierra Espuña, with a wide variety of walks and leisure options on offer.
The resort has a wide range of social and club activities taking place at the clubhouse and the centre behind the sales office, and is surrounded by expats living in the area, offering a wide range of social activities, clubs, associations and support groups.
The Women's Association of Hacienda del Álamo has been set up for all the ladies who live, own, work in the resort or who are 
associated with it in other ways. Their aim is to meet each other and enjoy activities and trips together, and they try and arrange as ,amy events as possible.
