Free bus service between Orihuela Costa and City this Easter
The shuttle will depart from Playa Flamenca roundabout on Good Friday and Easter Saturday evenings
The Orihuela City Council's Department of Tourism is offering a complimentary shuttle service for residents of Orihuela Costa to explore the city's rich cultural heritage during the Holy Week festivities.
On Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30, five buses will depart from the Playa Flamenca roundabout, situated behind the Town Hall, at 5pm sharp.
Conveniently, one of the stops will be at the Entrenaranjos Urbanisation, making it easier for coastal residents to join in the celebrations.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, the return journey is scheduled for 11pm from the iconic Gabriel Miró Glorieta in Orihuela.
Anyone interested in joining the Easter fun in Orihuela City can book their shuttle seats through the Department of Tourism website here.
By providing this free transportation service, the regional government aims to bridge the distance between Orihuela Costa and the city centre, giving coastal residents an opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant customs and traditions of Orihuela during the Holy Week celebrations.
