October 10-12 Raise a glass: Cervemol brewery opens its doors in Molina de Segura
Live music, vermouth on tap, great offers and a lively artisan market await visitors at this weekend’s grand opening
Beer lovers in the Region of Murcia have something to celebrate this weekend. Cervemol, a brand new brewery and beer hall, is officially opening in Molina de Segura with a packed three-day event from Friday October 10 to Sunday October 12, coinciding with the Pilar festivities. The new space, located at 2 Calle Albaricoque in the El Tapiado Industrial Park, spans more than 600 square metres and is designed as a social hub dedicated to the enjoyment of beer. Whether you’re a seasoned craft beer enthusiast or someone who’s only ever tried the classic commercial brands, Cervemol promises something for everyone.
Inside, visitors can look forward to more than 20 taps pouring beers from 10 different countries, including Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Japan and the United States. Alongside this impressive international line-up, the venue will also serve vermouth on tap, a selection of ciders, and both local and international dishes.
The opening night begins this Friday at 8.00pm with a host of special offers and discounts for early guests. Those arriving first will even have the chance to win prizes through scratch-off tickets.
On Saturday October 11, the brewery opens at noon with a lively "Vermuteo" session featuring free paella tapas, described as being “with Murcian things,” and live music from Los Duques, a local band covering Spanish rock classics from the 80s and 90s.
To round off the weekend, Sunday will see a craft, cultural and charity market hosted in collaboration with the Molina de Segura animal shelter. The venue will also feature plenty of entertainment, including table football, billiards, an air table and children’s arcade games - making it a fun outing for young and old alike.
For locals and visitors alike, a highlight inside Cervemol will be its striking 20-metre-long mural, created by artists @rhapsodyca and @amadoskills.arts. The graffiti piece celebrates Molina de Segura with familiar symbols such as the Ferris wheel, factory chimneys and even the legendary 1858 meteorite, all colourfully reimagined with Cervemol’s playful mascots, the “Cervezaunos.”After the opening weekend, Cervemol will operate from Tuesday to Friday between 6.00pm and midnight, and from 12.30pm to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.
This weekend’s launch promises good beer, good music and good company - the perfect combination for a fresh new favourite in Molina.
