ARCHIVED - March 25 Guided walk in and around the mountain of Cabezo Gordo in Torre Pacheco
An easy stroll for all the family on the iconic mountain which dominates the Campo de Cartagena
Cabezo Gordo is an unmistakeable landmark in the flat crop fields of the Campo de Cartagena, standing proud over the surrounding fields and towns and offering views over the Mar Menor.
At the same time, though, it also holds important paleontological secrets, and some of the oldest human and Neanderthal remains in Europe have been found here!
This short walk on March 25 lasts for just two hours between 11.00 and 13.00 and is recommended for anyone aged 5 or over, and registration is available free of charge online here as of March 11.
For more upcoming events in the Region of Murcia go to the What’s on section of Murcia Today.
Opening hours
Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm
